The competition for young lions will be held online on 7-8 May 2021 in partnership with Iskon. Entries are open for professionals under 31 in five categories: Design, Digital, Media, Print and PR!
The next generation of the national communications industry will soon go head-to-head to win the title of the best young creatives – Young Lions is officially open for entries. It will be held online on 7-8 May 2021 in partnership with Iskon, and the winning team of two creatives will represent Croatia at the online Cannes Young Lions competition! Entries are open until 30 April 2021 so head to the official competition website to find the application form and learn more about the competition.
This year’s edition is as special as the year behind us – both the national and global competition is fully held online and, this year only, young creatives under 31 are able to compete. The adventure starts with you so choose the field where you can confidently sweep the competition out of the following five categories: Design, Digital, Media, Print or PR.
You know the drill: you get the brief and are thrown into the lion’s den with only 24 hours to find your way out by producing a creative solution for the client. Your ally in the jungle will be Shutterstock, the creative partner of the competition that is granting all competitors full access to its online base of creative materials.
“We at Iskon are addicted to the adrenaline rush that comes with deadline pressure, which is followed by the aha moment and, finally, the realisation that our solution has fulfilled the goal. We are excited not only to support the best national creatives but also the non-profit organisation that will surely benefit from the intense day full of competitive spirit“, said Iva Vukšić, Head of public relations, internal communications and sponsorships department at Iskon, the official partner of Young Lions Croatia 2021.
The Young Lions competition has its softer side as well – the client, whose brief the teams are solving, is always a humanitarian non-profit organisation or a civil society organisation. All creative solutions produced by the teams are handed to the client free of charge at the end of the competition.
Not only does the format of the competition promote awareness about an important topic, but it also helps the competitors develop their creativity, learn how to work under pressure, hone their communication skills and make their own decisions. The team that can do it all is given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete with their colleagues from around the world at the global creative competition Cannes Young Lions – and it is only onwards and upwards from there.
If you are up for the challenge that can advance your career and change your life, your story starts right here at Young Lions. Find more information here, call up your partner in creativity and apply before 30 April 2021.
