These 15 experts will be the bridge between the competition and the competitors and as such will contribute to the continuous betterment of BalCannes.



Ahead of the new competition season, the BalCannes Expert Council has been assembled – an advisory body that will operate during the planning and organization phase of the competition. Its primary task is to participate in the ongoing alignment of BalCannes with the needs of the industry and the markets of the participating countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia).



Members of the BalCannes Expert Council will be representatives from the three best-ranked agencies in each participating country of BalCannes in the current year. In accordance with amazing results in 2023, the members for this year are: Dunja Bibianko (AV Studio, SLO), Nataša Bojanić (Leo Burnett Belgrade, SRB), Darko Bosnar (Imago Ogilvy, HR), Davor Bruketa (Bruketa&amp;Žinić&amp;Grey, HR), Amna Džambić Branković (Via Media, BIH), Bojan Kočovski (McCann Skopje, MKD), Ejub Kučuk (MITA group, BIH), Predrag Nikolovski (AdValue, MKD), Marko Pešić (Ovation BBDO, SRB), Sara Prenc (Studio Tumpić/Prenc, HR), Dejan Spirkoski (Saatchi&amp;Saatchi Skopje, MKD), Gordan Turković (CTA komunikacije, HR), Žarko Veljković (Jazavac i Utorak, SRB), Marko Vičič (Futura DDB, SLO) and Dino Zupančič (Agencija 101, SLO).

Members of the Council will discuss these ideas: competition groups and categories, judging, as well as other activities connected to planning and the realization of the competition. An initial meeting was also held, during which members of the Organizing Committee presented an overview of last year's season and plans for the upcoming year. Members of the Expert Council provided valuable feedback, suggestions, and ideas for the continued development of BalCannes.



For us, BalCannes is primarily an opportunity to establish new business contacts, and only then a competitive event. Some of the most important clients from the entire region are on the jury, and it often happens that one of our projects catches their eye, regardless of the final outcome of the competition. That's why we also submit projects that don't necessarily fall into the category of typical "festival" material but perfectly showcase the breadth and diversity of our expertise, said Davor Bruketa, a member of the competition's Organizing Committee.

Let us remind you that after the winners were announced at the main stage in Rovinj, the BalCannes Report was published. The report called <a href="https://res.cloudinary.com/dgzjet5jn/images/v1716896038/BalCannes-Report-2024/BalCannes-Report-2024.pdf?_i=AA" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BALCANNES MOSAIC OF CREATIVITY</a> encompasses several regional lists showing the best projects, advertisers, and agencies in our region, but also within each of the five countries included in the Council.
