We have a new deadline for Effie Awards Croatia

The Effie Awards Croatia have been recognizing and rewarding the most effective marketing campaigns in the country for 16 years. It’s all about celebrating campaigns that successfully blend creativity with measurable results — because, at the end of the day, good marketing isn’t just about looking great, it has to work. After the end of the late deadline on 22 February, there is a new special extended deadline and you can enter your projects until 5 March with a 75 € processing fee.

Under the leadership of jury president Kristina Hustić (PIK Vrbovec), a distinguished panel of 30 marketing and advertising experts will evaluate the most effective campaigns of the year. The jury includes Iva Ančić (A1 Hrvatska), Majda Babić (Nielsen), Ela Barić (Radenska Adriatic), Kristina Bocak Gojun (Podravka), Vice Božić (GoAds), Josip Buzov (Imago Ogilvy), Dunja Delić (Konzum), Helena Erceg (Improve), Maja Eškinja (Plodine), Petra Gajica (PINK MOON), Anamarija Horaček (MMB Media Argentur), Marija Jakeljić (BrownFox), Zrinka Jugec (Addiko Bank AG), Iva Kaligarić (Señor), Nada Kaurin Knežević (Sveučilište Algebra Bernays), Ana Končić Šebek (Prima namještaj), Željka Martinović (Komunikacijski ured Colić, Laco i partneri), Igor Mesarić (ZOO agencija), Irena Petek (Real grupa), Zvonimir Pelko (JGL), Tatjana Rajković (Kabinet 3C), Jelena Slade Šilović (Atlantic Grupa), Ivica Skočić (McCann Zagreb), Zvonimir Seki (Franck), Jasenka Talapko Blažević (BBDO Zagreb), Josip Tvrtković (Valicon), Vesna Vlahović Dašić (Co-brain), Tea Silvia Vlahović Mlakar (Bruketa&Žinić&Grey), Julijana Vrbanek (Pro Media Group), and Danijel Štih (EssenceMediacom).

For those still fine-tuning their submissions, the late entry deadline is 22 February 2025. Eligible campaigns need to have run between 22 August 2023, and 22 February 2025, while the Long-Term Effectiveness category allows entries dating back to August 2022.

This year also brings a few changes to reflect the ever-evolving marketing landscape. Finance and Insurance are now separate categories, and for the first time, there’s a dedicated AI category, recognizing the growing role of artificial intelligence in campaign strategy and execution.

Winners will be announced in May 2025 at DK festival in Rovinj — our event that brings together the best in the industry for a well-earned moment of recognition (and maybe a few celebratory drinks).
