Grand Prix at BalCannes won by Jazavac i Utorak and Hemofarm fondacija, Imago Ogilvy is the agency of the year, while Hemofarm fondacija won the Advertiser of the Year title at DK2024.
The winners of BalCannes, a regional competition of creativity, where agencies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia are competing with their innovative ideas, have been announced on April 11 in the Main Hall of DK2024. It has attracted the best of the best of regional creative people in Rovinj.
Jazavac i Utorak and Hemofarm fondacija won the BalCannes Grand Prix for their Najvažniji poziv u životu project. The title of the Agency of the Year in the region was won by Imago Ogilvy. The Advertiser of the Year award went to Hemofarm fondacija, and a special Editor’s Pick Award, in the selection of industry media from the region, went to Studenac and Imago Ogilvy agency for their EVERYBODY GUC GUC project.
At BalCannes, which has gathered the best that creativity has to offer in the five countries of our region, the agencies were able to compete in two tracks — I. Market Mosaic and II. Positive Change, and they could have won bronze, silver or gold awards. You can find a list of winners for each category below:
FOOD
In the Food category the winners of the gold award are Atlantic Grupa and Ovation BBDO for the Štark – I osmeh je tu project. The winners of the silver award are Jaffa Crvenka and Žiška with the Munchmallow – Sav od igre project. The winners of the bronze award are Burek Olimpija and Agencija 101 for the Burekuna project.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
The gold award in the Alcoholic Beverages goes to Franc Arman and Studio Tumpić/Prenc and the It’s Time for Your Time project. The silver award goes to Heineken and Leo Burnett Belgrade for the Za sve ono što nas spaja project. The bronze award goes to Heineken Hrvatska and Bruketa&Žinić&Grey for the Kad sjedne prva plaća project.
NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
The winners of the Non-alcoholic Beverages are Pipi Beverages and Imago Ogilvy and the PIPI – A TOAST FOR EVERY ROAST project. The silver award goes to Studenac and Imago Ogilvy for the EVERYBODY GUC GUC.
TELLECOMUNICATIONS
The winners of the silver in the Telecommunications category are A1 Srbija and Leo Burnett Belgrade and the NEO23 VAU platform project. The winners of the bronze award are One Albania and Creative Disorder Studio for the Manifesto in the sky.
FINANCE AND INSURANCE
In the Finance and Insurance category the silver award goes to RBA – Raiffeisenbank Hrvatska and Imago Ogilvy for the Financijska početnica: Oni od plaće do plaće project. The winners of the bronze award are Croatia osiguranje i Bruketa&Žinić&Grey and the LAQO Insurance Museum project.
RETAIL
In the Retail category the winners of the gold are Bingo and Via Media for the U Bingu sam project. In this category the silver award goes to Mercator and Herman & partnerji with the THE WHITE BOXES project. The bronze award goes to ePlaneta and DRV agency for the Iskreno project.
HEALTH AND PHARMACY
The gold prize in the Health and Pharmacy category goes to Hemofarm fondacija and Jazavac i Utorak for the Najvažniji poziv u životu project.
TOURISM, CULTURE, LEISURE
The gold award in the Tourism, Culture and Leisure category goes to Beogradska Filharmonija and McCann Beograd with the Na dobrom putu project.
CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
The winners of the silver in the Corporate Communications category are Croatia osiguranje and Bruketa&Žinić&Grey for the Croatia za Hrvatsku project.
MISCELLANEOUS
The gold in the Miscellaneous category goes to Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, Slovenia and Agencija 101 and the Lepo je biti kmet project. The silver award goes toČistoća Split and CTA komunikcije for the Odvoji, lako je project. The third place in theMiscellaneous category goes to Skateistan and Futura DDB and the #Playforskateistan project.
GREEN IMPACT
In the Green Impact category, the winners of the silver award areČistoća Split and CTA komunikcije and the Odvoji, lako je project. The bronze award goes to Terra Hub and 404 for their terrapija – Liječimo Zemlju edukacijom project.
COMMUNITY CARE
The winners of the Community Care category are Hemofarm fondacija and Jazavac i Utorak for the Najvažniji poziv u životu project. The silver prize was awarded to Counseling office for Workers and Agencija 101 for the GastarbAIter project. The winners of the bronze award in the Community Care category are UNICEF Srbija and Ovation BBDO for the Kako si, ali stvarno? project.

The glamorous atmosphere of the main stage at the festival alongside confetti, victory speeches and the great mood of our communications community have made the celebration of regional creative projects that much more special, and the celebrations continued in a more informal setting.
