A festival in Rovinj should probably include at least some Rovinj, don’t you think?
Yes, we know the festival schedule is packed. Yes, there are talks and panel discussions to catch, people to meet, awards to win, drinks that turn into quick catch-up lasting an hour and a half. Still, Rovinj deserves more than a view from the hotel terrace.
So here’s an idea: what say you about a guided tour of Rovinj?
Every day of the festival, we’re running a 90-minute guided walking tour (held in Croatian) to remind you that Rovinj is, in fact, a real place and not just a pretty postcard you’ve been accidentally walking past for three days.
Thursday, 7 May
The first tour takes place on Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, starting and ending at Trg Maršala Tita. A good option for anyone who wants to ease into DK with a walk that involves stone streets, sea views and a city that has been serving atmosphere for centuries.
Friday, 8 May
Friday brings another guided tour in the same time slot, from 6:15 PM to 7:45 PM, again starting and finishing at Trg Maršala Tita. Very useful if your brain needs a short break from panels, networking and whatever sentence someone has just started with “well I think that the future of our industry is…”.
Saturday, 9 May
Saturday follows the same format: 5:30 PM to 7 PM, from and to Trg Maršala Tita. A very solid choice for anyone who has spent the previous two days mostly indoors and would like at least one memory of Rovinj that is not in front of a giant screen.
If you’re down, register by sending us an email at info@danikomunikacija.com with the subject DK TOUR (also note the day you’ll be attending) and then show up at Trg Maršala Tita (by the fountain) at 5:30 PM if you’re attending on Thursday and Saturday or at 6:15 PM if you’re attending on Friday. The maximum size of the group is 20 people, based on the first-come, first-served principle.
