Marketing sometimes feels addicted to saying obvious things in very polished language, don’t you think? This session by Marketing Magazin plans to do the exact opposite. This is an everyone-pretending-to-agree free zone with regional experts Maro Pitarević (Creative Director, Real grupa, Member of HURA and IAB Croatia), Matjaž Germ (Chief Creative Officer, Agencija 101) and Igor Černiševski (CEO, IAB Serbia), who will be moderated by Marjan Novak (Partner, Marketing Magazin), sharing arguments usually reserved only for group chats or post-panel cocktails.
The format is simple: one by one, they’ll drop an industry hot take. Modern ads are just ragebait. Influencer marketing is mostly a scam. Greenwashing should be banned. Short-form video is making marketers worse at actual brand building. Traditional agencies are dying. AI content already feels dead on arrival. Personalized ads are getting creepy. If these takes sound offensive or unfair or uncomfortably true to some of you, great. That’s the whole point.
This is less a panel and more a live collision between industry frustration, professional instinct and whatever people are finally willing to say out loud with a microphone in hand. Some takes will age beautifully, while some may not survive five minutes. Either way, it should be more useful than another hour of polite agreement, to which you know how allergic we are.
