Health has long become a mainstream product, and the value of services and products based on the need to preserve health is increasing year by year. Although there are significant differences between the European and American models of managing the healthcare system, the fact is that the healthcare industry is increasingly falling into the hands of the private sector. There are several reasons for this, from changing consumer habits leading to perceiving health as valuable intangible assets, thus becoming desirable consumers and investors in health, to the ageing population and the increasingly expensive and innovative medical and healthcare treatments that question the sustainability of the traditional healthcare model.
Health has come a long way from being a god-given blessing(/curse) to a desirable commodity that we can all have, but only for the right price… What are the trends in health marketing, are there differences in the health habits of Generation Z, millennials, or older individuals whose years of unhealthy living may be catching up with them? How desirable is healthcare as a “healthy habit”, how much is it a consumer trend, and where should the boundaries be set? Get comfortable because health will be sold to you in a presentation held by Ognjen Bagatin (Serial Entrepreneur, Co-owner and Director, Poliklinika Sinteza) who will be joined by Gordan Turković (CEO, CTA komunikacije, HURA and IAB Croatia Member) for a moderated Q&A.
