Brains Before Bios is a 40-minute speed dating format where students and agencies meet through a series of fast, structured five-minute conversations. No long introductions, no prepared pitches — just a question on the table and your response to it.
How it works
Students are placed in small, randomly formed groups of three. Each group rotates across ten different agencies, meeting a new one every five minutes. At each table, the agency leads with a question, a short brief or a real situation from their work. You have five minutes to react, discuss and move on before switching to the next table. The pace is fast, and that’s intentional. There’s no time to overthink — what matters is how quickly you understand the question and form a point of view.
It’s quick, direct and a little uncomfortable — exactly how it should be. Just like speed dating. Five minutes at a time.
