POOOOOL SIDE | Friday
Last year, we asked the big question: are creativity and business really on bad terms? Now, it’s time to take the conversation one step further. If you were at DK2024, you probably remember our exploration of the asymmetries between creative and rational thinking — how creative people always have to justify their work to the number crunchers, but never the other way around, based on the theory Rory Sutherland shared with our community back in 2023. And yet, in a world where creativity fuels business growth, why does the tension between the two still exist?
DK2025 brings back the discussion with a new lineup of visionary leaders, industry disruptors and creative thinkers. We’ll challenge the divide between innovative ideas and financial gain, question whether the rules of business are stifling creativity and, most importantly — ask what it takes for both sides to not just coexist, but thrive together.
Under a watchful eye of their moderator Đorđe Janković (Managing Partner & Creative Director, Friday Finally, Serbia), Vesna Beganović (Founder & Partner, Viamedia, Bosnia and Herzegovina), Aleksandra Dilevska (CEO Publicis Groupe Croatia & N.Macedonia; COO Publicis Groupe Adriatic) and Tine Lugarič (Co-founder & Creative Director, Trampolin, Slovenia) will take the stage to dissect the battle (or partnership?) between creative passion and business profit. Will one prevail, or is it time for a new way of thinking?
