LLLOUNGE | Friday
Is it possible to bring a community together under one roof if there is no roof? Maybe it’s no longer about where we meet, but why — and how we stay connected when everything around us is fluid. We’ll explore the invisible architecture behind thriving communities — the values, rituals and shared goals that replace bricks and mortar. Our speakers don’t just talk about community — they live it, build it and facilitate it across geographies, without ever laying a single brick. Ok, maybe some of them built bricks too.
From grassroots tech collectives to decentralized collaboration and communicators as a part of it all, this conversation goes beyond infrastructure and asks: how do we design connection in an age where space is optional? What holds us together when we’re not held in by walls? We know a thing or two about building communities, but this time, join community builders from across the country, people who are doing exactly that!
We’ll hear examples of Split Tech City from Toni Trivković (Founder, President Volunteer, Split Tech City) and Osijek Software City from Bela Ikotić (Secretary General, Osijek Software City). Why giving back to the community is not just an overused phrase but a business approach with tangible results that benefits everyone will be revealed by Luka Šipić (Owner and Managing Director, Vrh komunikacije), while Lana Žuvela (Head of Communications, Split Development Agency – RaST and Technology Park Split) will tell us what happens when a former military barracks transforms into a Technology Park worthy of Silicon Valley.
