Entries are now open for the new season of IdejaX, the competition that has long served as the central benchmark for evaluating agency creativity in Croatia. The upcoming edition introduces further category development and a precisely defined competition framework.
IdejaX, the country’s leading national competition for creative agencies, is organized by the Croatian Association of Communication Agencies (HURA) as part of DK festival. The new season brings a set of updates focused on clarifying the competition structure, further developing digital categories and introducing changes to the jury selection process. Over the years, IdejaX has established itself as the key platform for recognizing creative excellence, with a strong focus on agency-led work, strategic thinking and professional production standards.
A CREATIVE ARENA FOR AGENCIES
At the core of IdejaX are projects created within an agency environment. Eligible entries include creative work produced by specialized agencies (creative, design, social, PR, digital, media or event agencies), as well as integrated agencies. The competition is built around agency teams and the creative processes behind their work.
The IdejaX 2026 Rules & Guidelines have been further refined to precisely define participation criteria and the evaluation process. These updates are designed to ensure transparency, integrity and equal conditions for all entrants. As in previous years, agencies can submit their work across four competition tracks: Best on Market, Best in Channel, Best Branding & Rebranding and Best of Positive Change.
DEVELOPMENT OF CATEGORIES IN TRACK II: BEST IN CHANNEL
In response to market development and changes in how digital projects are planned and delivered today, categories within Group II: Best in Channel have been updated. Alongside smaller adjustments to category names and descriptions, two key changes stand out.
The new Best Online Video category brings together what were previously separated short- and long-form formats, reflecting current production and distribution practices. The Best Digital Product category has also been expanded and now includes promotional and informational websites, e-commerce platforms and mobile applications, recognizing the growing range of digital solutions agencies develop for their clients.
UPDATES TO JURY SELECTION
In addition to jury members selected based on achievements from the previous season, IdejaX 2026 introduces the option of applying for jury membership. Up to three established creative directors or professionals with equivalent roles from HURA member agencies may self-nominate, provided their agency is not already represented on the jury through the ranking system.
This change opens up the evaluation process to a broader range of experience and perspectives.
SUBMIT YOUR WORK TO IDEJAX BY 6 MARCH 2026
To enter, participants complete an online application form including basic project details such as the project title, agency and client, selected category, strategic partners and individuals whose contribution was key to the project’s success. Entries are submitted either as a video summary of up to two minutes or as a PDF document.
IdejaX continues to evolve alongside the creative industry, adapting to the ways communication ideas are created and presented today. The eligibility period covers work produced between 6 March 2025 and 6 March 2026, while entries for all competition tracks are open until 6 March 2026.
