Here’s the full breakdown of this year’s regional creativity showdown — BALCANNES THE MOSAIC OF CREATIVITY. It comes with all the rankings that matter: campaigns, advertisers and agencies across Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and North Macedonia.
Once we announced the BalCannes winners in Rovinj, all the real results were wrapped up into this BalCannes 2025 Report. This isn’t a slideshow or a hype video — this is the raw scoreboard. Agencies from five countries went head-to-head across 22 categories, based on actual campaigns run during the two-year qualifying period. Gold, silver and bronze awards were handed out and you either earned one or you didn’t.
This report reflects real trends in the market and it also serves a higher purpose — forcing regional players to look around, compare and get better.
BALCANNES 2025 COMPETITION WINNERS
Quick recap: at DK in Rovinj, the Grand Prix went to BBDO Zagreb and Zagrebačka pivovara for BUDI HRABAR, BUDI ZDRAV. Agency of the Year across all five countries? Bruketa&Žinić&Grey. Top Advertiser? Marodi.
Editor’s Pick Award, chosen by regional media: Marodi and Bruketa&Žinić&Grey again for A Soup to Remember.
This year’s BalCannes edition saw over 200 project entries — the highest number in the competition’s history. More than half of the work was submitted in the I. Market Mosaic category, but II. Positive Change Mosaic accounted for nearly 23% of all entries — marking the second consecutive year the region has shown a clear shift toward valuing ethical messaging and its role in shaping a better society. When it comes to submission volume, Croatia leads with 33%, followed by Serbia at 28.4%, Slovenia at 19.1%, North Macedonia with 11.8% and Bosnia and Herzegovina with 7.4%.
