At IdejaX, both the big-name agencies and the underdogs are showing off across four tracks. But when it comes to picking the winners (to be announced in Rovinj), it all boils down to the verdict of a 12-member jury of industry experts.
There’s a new deadline for entering your best creative projects — now you have time until 17 March. And this year brings some shiny new features, including the Best in Channel track, which finally acknowledges that how you say something can matter just as much as what you say. The Best on Market track has also expanded to include more business-focused awards, alongside the usual Best Branding & Rebranding and Best of Positive Change trophies. Bottom line? The game just got bigger, and so did the stakes. Oh, and the jury lineup is out, too — so you know exactly who to impress (or blame).
The judging panel is a roll call of top creative directors and designers from Croatia’s biggest agencies. At the helm is jury president Marin Ostojić (ZOO agency), joined by big names like Martina Pavić (BBDO Zagreb), Nikola Žinić (Bruketa&Žinić&Grey), Izvorka Jurić (Dig studio), Luka Mavretić (Imago Ogilvy), Alen Kekić (I to nije sve!), Ana Lozica (MinusMinus Agency), Sean Poropat (Studio Sonda), Anselmo Tumpić (Studio Tumpić/Prenc), Ira Payer (Superstudio), Ivan Pavičić (Šanavala), and Jakov Vilović (UTORAK). In other words, expect zero room for mediocrity.
I’m looking forward to this year’s IdejaX — and leading the jury, says Marin Ostojić. We’ve switched things up this time. Best In Channel opens the floodgates for smaller and niche agencies to flex their creative muscles. And voting will be completely secret, so no leaks, no politics — winners won’t know they’ve won until Rovinj. With all these changes, judging will be tough, but we’re here to separate the wheat from the chaff and reward work that actually deserves it.
