As the organizers of DK festival, one of the best events in the world, we are proud to present the first offline conference in the outdoors with an online program filled with the world’s leading businessmen, futurists, psychologists and creatives that is going to be held in Park Maksimir on 30 June and 1 July.
Months of quarantine and isolation has left you starving for some good old hanging out with colleagues, exchanging inspiring ideas and enjoying high-quality content? Well, it seems that you are in luck because we have prepared just the thing for you – a picnic in the park! While we eagerly wait to depart for Rovinj in October, we have decided to organize DK Piknik by Jamnica Botanica, an exclusive event for DK2020 participants on 30 June and 1 July in after-work hours where you can listen to online talks by first-class businessmen, futurists, psychologists and creatives while enjoying the gloriously green scenery of Park Maksimir.
Dunja Ivana Ballon, festival and program director, introduced the project: We have never been your typical conference, so once again we’re thinking outside the box; in extraordinary circumstances we are moving our amazing community to the outdoors! Surrounded by Maksimir’s lush greenery, we will talk to world-class leaders and answer questions such as how to think about the future when it’s impossible to think about the future.
That will be the title of the talk by one of the most thought-provoking futurist of our time Ben Hammersley, who will share his thoughts on the best way to plan for the future after the old ways have been broken. The legendary Sir Martin Sorrell, one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, will help you navigate your business out of a crisis. We have also invited some of the top psychologists and authors, such as Heidi Priebe and Thijs Launspach, to help us make high-risk decisions and battle stress that has made a bad situation worse in the past months.
DK Piknik is an exclusive two-day event for DK2020 participants. DK Piknik ticket is included in the DK2020 in Rovinj ticket that has already been purchased. As the sun sets, we will exchange views with our colleagues, business partners and everyone else we haven’t seen in person for quite some time, but also enjoy fresh insight from six of the world’s biggest industry experts and engage in lively Q&A sessions with each of them.
You won’t have to think about safety while enjoying the summer atmosphere, fresh air and hanging out with your colleagues because we will take care of the safety measures as we prioritize everyone’s health and well-being before anything else.
