There are only three days left until the long-awaited festival that gathers the elite of the communications industry in Rovinj, Croatia. Every day of the festival will be closed by a prestigious awards show, rewarding the best Croatian advertisers and agencies.
We really hate stiffness and ready-made generic attitudes and love expertise, authenticity and no-holds-barred approaches. Get ready for the next edition of DK festival – which will take place on 20-23 April 2023 in Hotel Lone in Rovinj. The festival’s 360-degree stage hosts only the boldest of speakers who feel perfectly comfortable in their own field of expertise, as well as on the stage – and do not waver over sharing their knowledge with others. The number of seats in Hall AAA is limited, yet its amazing atmosphere can be felt in other areas of the festival as well. You will have the opportunity to comfortably enjoy coffee with your dearest colleagues while listening to the talks in Shumica powered by Addiko Bank on the ground floor of the hotel. If you’re more of a nature-lover, the talks will be streamed on the hotel’s garden powered by Somersby and under the Istrian sun, as well as on the Lone beach, where the voices of our speakers will be accompanied by the sound of the waves.
AWARDS FOR THE MOST CREATIVE
What would our festival be without celebrating the best achievements of the industry? The evenings of all three days of the festival will be dedicated to prestigious awards shows. On Thursday, the best creatives in the region will be revealed at the BalCannes Awards Show. On Friday, the world will know about the newest owners of the IdejaX trophies, while the winners of the Young Lions Croatia powered by Elan will also receive their hard-earned awards. On Saturday, the most effective projects of the Effie Awards will be celebrated, as well as the best digital projects of the MIXX Awards. All those that enjoy discussing the competitions’ finalists with their colleagues will be especially happy about the fact that the projects shortlisted for BalCannes will be presented on Thursday, young lions of the industry on Friday and the Effie Awards finalists on Saturday.
CHARGE YOUR BATTERIES WITH YOGA – OR ON THE DANCE FLOOR
Before the stressful evenings, before coming to the stage and giving speeches, as well as after all that – participants will have the opportunity to relax during yoga sessions in a beautiful setting – on Thursday, yoga will be practised at sunset and on Friday, at sunrise. On the other hand, those who wish to relax on the dance floor will not be left behind – Bulldog gin has your back on Thursday and Antique on Friday, while the first party will be opened by a Belgrade-based band St. Louis. Finally, the local DJs Rea and Leggero will be joined by DJ Goya and DJ Felver all night!
